THE SEAL OF SCIENCE

For many years now, a large and enthusiastic band of scientists have been looking in Switzerland - a very expensive business! - for the true origins of matter, looking for what has been playfully named the God particle, otherwise known more formally as the Higgs boson. Something they felt was crucial to the understanding of mass.

Well it seems that very recently they have found it!

One outcome of this discovery is the existence of an invisible energy field that stretches throughout the universe. Particles that interact with this field gain mass.

Well, who would have thought it! What a surprise!

So now, after almost forty years of practice, there comes the scientific seal on what I/we have been up to all this time!
